Privacy Policy

The short version
BlockCalm collects no personal data. There is no account and no sign-up. The extension makes no network calls and contains no analytics or telemetry, and we never see, store, or transmit your browsing history.
The extension
- Your blocklist, settings, schedules, and license key live only in your browser's local storage (
chrome.storage.local) on your own device. - The extension needs permission to see the address of the page you are visiting only so it can check that address against your own blocklist, on your device. That check never leaves the browser.
- If you uninstall the extension, that locally stored data is removed with it. We hold no copy — we never had one.
This website
This website is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no third-party trackers or fonts. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and operation, as any host does.
Payments
If you buy a license, payment is processed by Paddle, which acts as merchant of record and as an independent controller of the checkout data it handles (such as your name, email address, and payment details). Card details never reach us. Paddle's own privacy policy applies to that data: paddle.com/legal/privacy. From Paddle we receive the order information needed to deliver and support your license — principally your purchase email address and order status — and we use it only for delivering your license key and handling support and refund requests.
If you email us, we keep that correspondence only as long as needed to resolve your request.
Your rights
Because we hold almost no data about you, there is usually nothing to retrieve or delete. If you believe we hold personal data about you (for example, a support email), you may ask to access or delete it at any time using the contact below.
